Municipal Sports Pavilion

A modern, functional multipurpose facility with a 1,245 square metre floating parquet floor. Seating for 1000 spectators in the stands. Fitness, aerobics and gymnastics rooms. Multipurpose stadium for putting on concerts, plays, etc. Cafeteria and catering service.

Municipal Football Stadium

Date built: 1973 (and remodelled at various times since) One 11-a-side artificial grass football field (can be divided into two 7-a-side football fields), one 11-a-side football field with a dirt surface, and another 7-a-side football field with a dirt surface. All are officially approved for competitions. The complex also contains a 40 x 20 metre covered pavilion with a surface designed for indoor sports and seating in the stands for 250 persons. Other facilities include changing rooms, toilets, a bar and a children’s playground.

Municipal Indoor Swimmingpool

Date covered and heated: 1999
A modern, functional facility with a transparent polycarbonate cupola.
Connected to the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
Two pools: one of 25 x 16.67 metres and another of 16.67 x 8 metres.
1,000 square metres of solarium and gardens, children’s play area, pool-library (in summer).
Sports Medicine Centre and physiotherapy service.

Beach Sports Zone

Ponent and Llevant Beaches (opposite the Jaume I monument)

Opening times: 10 am to 8 pm daily
Date built: Summer 2000 (when the seafront area was remodelled)

Beach childminding service, petanque courts, skittles, chess tables, ping-pong, children’s games, volleyball pitch, paddle tennis, korfball, etc. There is also a multipurpose pitch for five-a-side football and basketball and a fitness and cardiovascular workout area with monitors.
Volleyball, football, basketball, etc. competitions are organised.

Beach Childminding Service: A 200-square-metre fun area where you can leave your kids for a few hours in the care of qualified monitors. Games, activities, toy library, etc.
