Salou has become one of the holiday resorts with the largest number of quality distinctions and certificates, both for the quality of its services and for its commitment to protecting the environment.

Quality systems such as the EMAS, ISO 14.001:4, ISO 9000, Q and the Integrated System of Quality in Tourism Destinations are well established in our public services and tourism establishments, making us one of the resorts that is most sensitive to and aware of the importance of introducing this type of system.

All Salou’s beaches have environmental quality certificates and many of its business and restaurants are certified for the quality of their services.

The resort also has a series of general distinctions, such as the Catalan Family Holiday Resort emblem, which makes it the ideal place for family holidays, or the Secretariat of State for Tourism and Commerce’s Integrated System of Quality in Tourism Destinations.

Salou’s tourism establishments have made a supreme effort to offer services of the highest quality and its accommodation establishments, travel agencies, restaurants, shops, etc. have been awarded numerous quality certifications.
